Paul and Daniel have been working together creatively since 2012 and began recording and  performing as a duo in February 2018.  The Slightly Off Kilter label released "SU:V22"; a document of their performance that summer in the garden at V22's South London HQ at the invitation of Steve Beresford and Blanca Regina of Strange Umbrellas.  Linear Obsessional released a cassette of studio material, "Sepertae" at the beginning of 2019.  They followed that with a 7" lathe-cut, "Hazeblaze / Coastal Fulmar", taking a side each.  Daniel's side features contributions from saxophonist Ron Caines from East Of Eden.  Later that year they contributed to a quartet session with bassist Peter Marsh and percussionist Paul May which is mooted for release in 2021.
